Ever notice that casinos spend a good chunk of their budget in the security sector? That’s a given, with all that money floating around their gambling floor(s). The casinos just want to make sure the greenbacks aren’t disappearing from their property. They’re protecting their investment.
There are plethora of cameras, from many different angles, focusing on all the slot machines and gaming tables. The ceiling with all the black half-globe cameras mounted from the false ceiling. The casinos refer to them as ‘anti-cheating’ cameras. These camera units are usually small, taking up as little space on the ceiling as possible, you know …trying to be hidden from the suckers … er , I mean gamblers.
Most casinos add some elaborate (albeit ugly) designs to their ceiling of the casino floor just to make sure those black half-globe security cameras are less noticeable.
Now to my ‘Mmm ...just wondering..’ point of view.
I was wondering if the casinos (at least in the mega casino resorts), install some type of micro camera (like the ones you see in those espionage/spy movies) in their hotel rooms?
Ever notice that all hotel rooms have plenty of items hanging on their walls of the guest rooms? Like paintings, or wall mirrors (some full length). Some mirrors could be two-way mirrors. In the guest rooms, there are plenty of places to put these things.
